Hearts for Homeless Fellowship Dinner. Saturday, April 26, 5 - 8:30 pm, Menlo Park: 950 Santa Cruz Avenue, Fellowship Hall. Join the MPPC Hearts for Homeless ministry to help provide an evening of food, fellowship, bingo and fun for about 75 unhoused guests from our surrounding community, who are also invited to attend a Bible study or the worship service at 5 pm. Dinner begins in Fellowship Hall at 6 pm, followed by bingo. Volunteers are welcome in a variety of areas, including cooking and serving dinner, helping with bingo or simply visiting with the guests who join us. Children are welcome. A Conversation with N.T. Wright. Sunday, May 4, 7 pm, Menlo Park: 950 Santa Cruz Avenue, Sanctuary. Join us as we hear from N.T. Wright, the former Bishop of Durham in the Church of England and one of the leading Bible scholars of our day. MPPC will host a dialogue with Professor Wright, considering some of the most difficult questions we face when it comes to understanding and living a Christian faith in the modern era. Real Life: Your Emotional and Spiritual Fitness Fellowship. Thursdays, 7 - 8:30 pm, Menlo Park: 950 Santa Cruz Avenue, D-11. As we face uncertain, painful, or tragic circumstances or struggle with our relationships or our own behaviors, we can feel overwhelmed emotionally and spiritually. This is an ongoing support group for emotional and spiritual healing and growth as we study content from Christian psychologists, Henry Cloud and John Townsend, and  others, and discuss in small groups how to apply what we learn to our lives and our relationships. Steps of Faith - A Weekly Christ-Centered 12-Step Fellowship.
Thursdays, 7 pm, Menlo Park: 950 Santa Cruz Avenue, A-26/27. We invite Christians to join this fellowship of recovery and those who are in recovery to join this Christian fellowship. Together we will share God's gift of the 12-Step program and stories of transformation and recovery from all types of brokenness. Steps of Faith Celebration - Recovery Worship and Fellowship.
2nd Saturday of every month, 7-9 pm Menlo Park: 950 Fellowship Hall. This monthly recovery worship service includes live worship music, a speaker with a personal recovery story and open sharing as a way to celebrate and to introduce the Steps of Faith weekly recovery fellowship. Juarez Mission Trip Info Meeting. Sunday, April 27, ODC San Mateo. Trip dates are: August 3 - 6. Our team will build a small, solidly built house for a deserving family in the community selected by the church. We will also feed the hungry, engage and entertain the children, and participate in a local church service. Appropriate for adults and children age 5+ with a parent.
