As we seek to be a blessing to the Bay Area, one of the most significant opportunities to make a difference is by investing in children and schools. With school budgets cut drastically in recent years, we have come alongside teachers and students in some of the most under-resourced schools to encourage, bless, and foster long-term transformation within our communities.
MPPC MINISTRY TEAMS:
Adopt-A-Teacher (Menlo Park and The Cafe)
Join with your small group or a few friends to support a teacher by providing resources and encouragement. This year we hope to adopt 100 teachers--every K-5th teacher in the Ravenswood District--so your participation will make a difference! This is a significant way we can become a blessing to the larger community.
Adopt-A-Classroom (Mountain View)
Partner with Mariano Castro Elementary School in Mountain View and Reach Potential Movement. The school resides on a beautiful campus and hosts a multi-lingual, multi-ethnic population of students. Castro’s diverse student body represents a rich and varied cultural population with more than twenty-one languages spoken.
Ravenswood Science Initiative (Menlo Park and The Cafe)
Support science education for middle school students in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park schools. If you are passionate about science, we'd love to help you find a place to serve that fits your gifts and area of interest!
