Are you up for the excitement and challenges of helping children know Jesus as their "Forever Friend?" (Or maybe you're just a kid at heart, and you'll have as much fun as they do!)

It is a startling but true fact that 85% of all Christ followers become Christians between the ages of 4-14. We have a big job to do! We want everyone serving in Shepherd's Village to work according to how God has gifted them. Therefore our ministry positions are varied -- from creative communicators and small group leaders to caregivers of infants and toddlers. There are areas of service in Shepherd's Village that fit every spiritual gift. If seeing children come to Christ and grow in His love is your passion, our leadership staff will work with you to find where you can make a difference.

Nursery/Toddlers/Twos Caregiver
Play with our youngest children, making sure they feel welcomed, accepted and nurtured as a child of God.

Creative Communicator
Speak the truths of the Bible lesson to the children in developmentally appropriate ways.

Small Group Leader
Help kids apply the large group lessons, develop relationships, and pray for each other.  Facilitate the small group activity for the day and create a safe place for the children to talk about relevant issues and how their faith in Jesus applies to everyday life.

Library Team
Join the team supporting MPPC's Family Life Library.  Responsibilites include maintaining the library database, staffing the library on weekends, and working with staff to order new materials and prepare them for circulation. No experience is necessary; we will train you!

Confident Kids
Facilitate a small group of 3-4 children from single or foster parent homes during an 8-week workshop offered three times a year.  Help them learn life skills, build self-esteem and gain a sense of trust through relationships with caring adults in a loving and safe environment.
