Mothers Together-Menlo Park

Tuesdays, September to May
9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Menlo Park Campus, Fellowship Hall

Mothers Together is a community of women seeking to grow in our faith through the development of fellowship, prayer, teaching and mission outreach.  We seek authenticity in our relationships with one another and with Jesus, sharing life lessons and supporting each other as we navigate the journey of one of God's most important roles for us, Motherhood.  Mothers Together seeks to draw women toward a life-giving relationship with Jesus, to nurture them toward mature faith, to help them grow in community, and to give them Christ-centered support in their roles as mothers, wives, daughters, friends, and disciples of the Lord.

Our prayer is that you will experience Mothers Together as sanctuary from the daily demands of motherhood.  We pray that it becomes a place for you to connect, grow in your faith, and experience His infinite love through His Kingdom.

Childcare is provided every Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. for children ages three months through kindergarten. Infants are welcome to stay with mom. Registration is not necessary. Suggested donation for childcare is $10 per week per family. Cash or checks (made out to MPPC) will be collected in Fellowship Hall or can be put in the Childcare Donations basket at the main door to Fellowship Hall.

MOTHERS TOGETHER PROGRAMMING

Winter/Spring 2012 Programming

Mothers Together Bible Study (1st and 3rd Tuesdays)
Twice a month we seek to nurture each other toward a mature faith as well as encourage and support each other through fellowship and prayer in a small group setting. Each meeting includes teaching, spiritual exercises and time for fellowship. Women can be placed in a small group at any time or join the weekly drop-in table.  All are invited to join a small group at anytime during the year.

This winter/spring, we will study "The Good and Beautiful Life" by James Bryan Smith.  Our ministry's goal is for spiritual transformation through the disciplines of prayer, meditation, fellowship and soul tending.  We seek Jesus' calling to the Kingdom Of God through the context of community with other mothers.  The book will be available for a small donation at Mothers Together.  The series is taught by Julie Colwell, Cathy James, Kelly Morehead, Jenn Hipple and Joanie Tankersley.

All Togethers (2nd and 5th Tuesdays)
Mothers of all ages and stages gather “all together” for worship and inspiration. These gatherings include guest speakers and discussion with other moms on topics of faith, motherhood, healing, and spiritual formation.  Twice a year (December and May), our Special Events Team hosts a Mothers Together brunch.  Moms are encouraged to invite newcomers and friends in the community to share a special morning together.

Thrive Tuesdays (4th Tuesdays)
Our Thrive as a Mom series features a large group forum where speakers provide practical tips on how to thrive in our everyday roles as moms, wives, daughters, friends and disciples of the Lord.  There are two other more intimate Thrive seminars which will explore specialized topics in-depth.  All moms are invited to participate in the seminar of their choosing.
